A dentist cannot claim to achieve complete local anesthesia 100% of the time. Although local anesthetics are usually predictable in their ability to create complete numbness, there are times when the patient feels pain and discomfort even after many injections.
This CE webinar will explore the reasons for incomplete local anesthesia. A discussion regarding anatomy, pharmacology and patient factors and to how they relate to deficient anesthesia will be presented. Methods to achieve as close to 100% success as possible will be highlighted.
