Pulp capping procedures have historically been challenging. The primary objective is to save the tooth, however, due to the uncertainty of success with this procedure some clinicians opt for root canal therapy. In these uncertain financial times giving patients the option of foregoing RCT with a less expensive, invasive procedure is a welcome change. Now with several different and newer bioactive and biomechanical products available the DDS has the option to restore pulp vitality.
Upon completion of this CE webinar, the student will be: 1. introduced to the various products available today for direct and indirect pulp capping 2. given an overview of their strengths and weaknesses
