From anesthetizing a single tooth to the entire quadrant, what techniques and agents can be used to achieve quality anesthesia in the maxilla? This CE webinar will review the specific techniques, from simple infiltrations to intraligamentary (PDL) and intraosseous techniques, through regional blocks such as the infraorbital, AMSA, and ASA, and complete maxillary division nerve blocks. Recommendations for selection of anesthetic agents based upon the currently available evidence will also be discussed.
Upon completion of this CE webinar, the student will come away with an enhanced understanding and comfort for providing profound maxillary anesthesia for their patients in as safe and efficient a manner as possible.
